Become a Member of The American-Scandinavian Foundation
When you become a member of The American-Scandinavian Foundation, you support the Foundation’s century-old mission of promoting cultural and educational exchange between the U.S. and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Plus, you will receive benefits your whole family will enjoy, such as discounts on tickets to films, concerts, and lectures; invitations to exhibition openings and other exclusive Member-only events; access to The Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center; and subscriptions to the ASF’s informative illustrated journal, Scandinavian Review, and the Foundation’s newsletter, SCAN.
ASF members receive a 15-20% discount in The Shop @ Scandinavia House, which features a wide range of items from the leading Nordic design houses as well as books, jewelry, toys, and specialty foods. Members also receive a 10% discount in Smörgås Chef at Scandinavia House, where Scandinavian cuisine delights all palates with a smörgåsbord of Scandinavian sandwiches, salads, pastries, and entrees.
Membership dues pay for one full calendar year and renewals are sent two months before your expiration date. Memberships begin and end on the 1st of every month.
