Scandinavian Review has been published continuously since 1913.  It carries out one part of ASF's educational mission--the exchange of ideas between the United States and the Nordic countries--in a compact  9 1/4" x 7" illustrated format with glossy pages and both color and black-and-white photographs.

Prior to 1975, the magazine was titled The American-Scandinavian Review, and prior to 1990 it was published quarterly. To locate Scandinavian Review articles, please ask your local reference librarian for the most appropriate index available.  The magazine, from 1913 to the present, is also available from UMI in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the following fomats: in microform, in paper, or electronically -- on CD-ROM, online and/or magnetic tape -- by calling  toll-free 800-521-0600 or faxing 313-761-1203. Only a limited number of current issues are available for purchase through the Foundation.
