Traveling outside of the United States
If you are planning to travel out of the US do not forget to take your documents (Passport, I-94 Card, DS-2019 Form) with you. If you do forget, however, you will be issued an I-515A Form upon your return. As there are forms with outdated contact information still in circulation, please send all documents to the processing center listed below:

SEVP must receive your documents within 30 days of your re-entry into the US. The approximate processing time is 45 days. After processing, your documents will be sent to the ASF. Once the ASF receives your documents, we will forward them to you at your host firm address.
During the processing time, when you are without your documents, you should NOT travel outside of the US.
TIP TO PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS: If you are to travel outside of the US during your program always take your documents with you, and have your DS-2019 validated for travel so as to avoid this being in this situation.
