Do you have an Internship in Scandinavia and need a Temporary Work Permit?
If you have arranged both an internship and housing, contact ASF at trainscan@amscan.org to see if we can help you get a temporary Work Permit.
- You must be a US citizen or permanent resident over 21.
- Your internship must be in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden.
- ASF can help only with temporary Work/Residence Permits. Under no circumstances can ASF provide any assistance with permanent relocation, e.g. permanent residency, citizenship.
- Each Scandinavian country has its own eligibility restrictions. If you do not meet those restrictions, ASF cannot help you get a Work Permit.
- Work permit applications take months, the exact number depending on the country and how busy the consular and immigration authorities are. You should budget 3-4 months before your planned departure date for your work permit application. If you do not have your work permit by your planned departure from the United States, you will have to delay your departure.
