genealogy research. Many of the sites listed below charge fees for
their family search services. The American-Scandinavian Foundation
does not endorse any of these web sites, but offers this
information for your use. Because, The ASF does not have genealogy
specialists on staff, please direct any research questions to the

Swedish Emigrant Institute

The institute will conduct research on your behalf for a fee of
$60. Results take approximately 6 months. There is an online
request form available on their site.
Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center at Augustana
College

The Swenson Center, is an archive and research institute providing
resources for the study of Swedish immigration to North America.
The center also publishes the journal, "Swedish American
Genealogist," and assists people researching their Swedish-American
family history.
